TOMORROW: NestEd Summer 2023 – Leaving the Nest

Do you have young adult children in high school or recently graduated? Please join us for our upcoming virtual workshop, "Leaving the Nest", that will help them to be prepared for the next stage in their life, get ahead of the game, and build financial literacy background.

As teens approach young adulthood, questions about career, education, and what the future holds come up. This course is designed to help your teen learn the fundamentals of career, education, and financial planning.

Please join Kellen Williams and Danica Bolton for our upcoming virtual workshop Tuesday, August 1st from 11:00am to 12:00pm, “Leaving the Nest”, that will help them to be prepared for the next stage in their life, get ahead of the game, and build financial literacy background. Course Description

This course is designed for rising high school juniors and seniors as they begin considering their post-graduation options. Participants will have an opportunity to dive deeper in exploring their purpose, passions, and talents with activities to trigger thinking on their next steps. They will also be introduced to career and education options to consider. Next, they will learn how to prepare and position themselves to earn a college degree debt free and knowing what to expect if deciding to take on some debt. Finally, participants will learn how the fundamentals on prudently taking the first steps to long-term wealth.

  3. Consider All Your Options

Module 2: A Debt-Free Degree

  1. The Student Loan Crisis
  2. Paying for College – Ways to Cash-Flow Your Education

Module 3: Wealth Building Fundamentals

  1. Establishing S.M.A.R.T. Financial Goals
  2. Personal Financial Statements and Handling Debt
  3. Evidenced Based Investing and Building a Portfolio
  4. Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
